Humans are omnivores, meaning we eat a varied diet of meat and vegetables (simplifying).
I've never embraced being a vegan, and generally have shied away from it most of my life, as it never appealed to me. Still doesn't, however I can see the arguments for it to a certain extent.
(Side note - fucking exhausted - irrigation)
I do think of it, I do think that in a "better world" veganism would be more widely available and easier to migrate to.
I say better because perfect is not possible.
I look at the pets around us, and even see the images of those with non standard pets (livestock) and feel guilt. Though I'll shovel it away and go eat my al pastor burrito again.
sigh... I hate this black and white world that has been painted for me and served up for the common folk as if it's 'bread n butter'. It's bullshit is what it is....
I know you can't "force" people to do things... but considering the government has already done enough bullshit propaganda for it's own purposes, we could use it for some good.
Ethical dilemma - Is there "proper" propaganda?
Irrational answer? - Yes, in the sense of propagating information that is based on science/data and the common good.
I'm in a dog catching the tail thing here or something... "It feels wrong" (the structure of the irrational answer). I'm sure there is some critical information that I could be missing, and what information I do (grey matter) have... well I don't know if it's enough to rationalize justifiably.
It's not that I hate veganism.. I don't. I'm just having to contend with a spiderweb of conditioning, emotions, and the fact that I like to eat meat.
Cooking having a huge part in this.

Discourse is the only means of being able to communicate with one another. Assuming one person knows things that you know is not realistic. Spam will be deleted, fallacious messages will be pointed out as such, and educating the reader is not the objective.
