I've discovered that the way I learn is this.. an interest grabs me.. I read up on it.. depending on the topic and subject matter is relative to how much interest I then dump into it.
Superficial shit.. the distractions between learning moments typically get less than a day, again this is all variable based on interest levels. My current interests musically - old vs new, tv, movies, tchotchke-esque news bits and for the most part the news in general. I would say I'm fairly up to date in the general bullshit around the world, local and state are new to me so will be a bit bcuz of new state location... Aka my move.
Federally I'm ok.. I know of the general bullshiterry that is currently in play.. hence my I had to change my plans and move to this shit hole of a state.
I do not trust my government.... I do not trust the system... I'm struggling to think about trusting humanity... Science has shown me too much about reality and history has shown that the more things change the more they stay the same. It's the grand illusion.
That philosophy and the humanities and history have grabbed my attention.. they have shown me the oppression that is occurring is from those who have lied to us for since the beginning of time. Violence rules this world and the head of the most powerful governments always have. Humanity can rename it and change it up as needed.. but we are always governed by liars, murders, & thieves who have hoodwinked, bamboozled, and hornswoggled the general populous since the dawn of time. Just like the most violent wins on the savannahs of Africa, the steppes of Asian, and everywhere else with the other creatures we share this world with. If humanity is supposedly the only species capable of higher reasoning, then is there any hope? Any hope to break the evolutionary cycle of violence? Is it a fools quest? A snipe hunt? Going to the auto parts store for blinker fluid?
Evolution is a reality in what we are able and capable of documenting in a scientific manner, which also tells us that we are in a closed system residing on this planet as we do. Where is the control? The program sophistication of the illusions of life. We have these drivers internal and external. The totality of what we call reality that dictate all that is currently possible. 200 years ago flight was only possible for those with wings in the animal kingdom, we'd have to wait for the Wright Bros (Davinici had plans) before taking to the skies. Were there others before Davinici that may have thought as such but whose ideas and evidence are lost.
I have a road of education to traverse here and I find myself excited. I have found the tools to build and in more ways than one...
One day.. just today.. my focus is here. Mindful of the calendar and working for something in harmony with my full self.
